Care Assistant (Nights) -Required at Heartlands Nursing Home, Birmingham B26, Part of the Country Court Family**
Hours: Nights 38.5 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times


Heartlands Nursing Home is one of the leading care homes in Birmingham & we specialise in providing individualised residential, dementia & nursing care that supports residents with their personal needs.

Our dedicated team led by the manager help create a warm, homely atmosphere and help create special memories for the residents.

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT (NIGHTS) ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping our residents with personal support and care
  • Aiding their emotional wellbeing and social needs
  • Supporting residents at meals time
  • Interacting with our residents on a personal level
  • Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met

ABOUT YOU

Having those care values is vital to share a happy home, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people's lives.


  • Be no stranger to working night shifts
  • Able to engage well with the residents and their families
  • Have good written & verbal communication skills
  • Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
  • Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
  • Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.

Covid Safety

We operate COVID secure homes and have strict procedures in place to ensure the safety of all residents and staff.

This includes regular COVID & temperature testing and wearing appropriate PPE, and if requested by management a face mask whilst on shift, unless medically exempt.


You may have experience as
Care Assistant, Carer, support worker, dementia, Alzheimer's, care worker, health and social care, healthcare, senior care assistant.
