About The Service

Cardiff Council has an ambitious and leading strategy to make the Capital city of Wales carbon net zero by 2030.

Working across the Council the One Planet Team lead on the co-ordination and delivery of the councils One Planet Strategy.

We are delivering renewable energy schemes, heat networks, working with schools, working with new development and so much more.

About the job

There's a lot going on in Cardiff around climate change and we need someone to help support and keep track of projects to make sure we maximise the benefits.

In this role you will provide vital organisation and co-ordination support to a range of climate change initiatives, making sure people are connected and informed.

You will also play an active role in supporting the delivery of climate change projects across the Council.

What We Are Looking For From You
You will need to be well organised with experience of keeping track of multiple projects. You should have excellent ICT skills with an appetite for exploring new ways of doing things.

You will need to work co-operatively with a range of staff from across the council and therefore good interpersonal skills are essential.
