1-2-1 Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 2


Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting children with Autism? This lovely primary school is looking for a proactive and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 child with a primary diagnosis of Autism on a 1-2-1 basis.

This wonderful, bright, vibrant school offers outstanding support for pupils of all abilities and the SENCO is looking to add a Teaching Assistant to an established team.


As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be providing 1-2-1 classroom-based support and delivering intervention sessions for the pupil.

The pupil in Key Stage 2, requires additional support remaining focused in lessons and occasionally will need to take time away from the classroom setting.

This role requires an experienced Teaching Assistant who has previously worked with Autism.


Job Role:

  • Supporting a child on a 121 basis
  • Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs, primarily Autism
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant
  • Providing a nurturing and caring environment for pupils
  • Delivering focused intervention sessions for children who require additional support
