We are currently recruiting for an
Electrical or Technical Estimator on behalf of our clients based near
Walsall.

The
Electrical or Technical Estimator will be responsible for commercial costings for new RFQs and current assemblies within the business by reviewing, interpreting and calculating pricing against bills of materials (BoMs) and schematic information to create sales proposals.

The Electrical or Technical Estimator will be working the hours of Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm.

The salary for this role is between
£36,000pa to £42,000pa experience dependent.

Duties include;

Maintaining a database of suppliers, brands, categories, and product types for inclusion on request for quotations (RFQs)
Providing accurate quotations
Creating and interpreting detailed customers bill of materials (BoMs)
Managing multiple tenders
Monitoring and executing quotation trackers
Closing on commercial tenders
Deliver results in a timely manner based upon business metrics
Working closely with other support functions to deliver objectives
Be responsible for Health & Safety requirements

Skills/Experience/Competencies required;

Product knowledge in Electrical Control functions and/or Electro-Mechanical assemblies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commercial/Technical Estimating experience within Electrical Manufacturing
Competent in understanding Electrical Schematics
