About Our Client:

A great opportunity for an
Product Technologist to join a market leading têxtile business in the Greater Manchester office. They design and produce têxtiles for the Bedroom, living room etc. They have a great reputation in the industry with a number of long service employees. They are SEDEX AB member and their own Responsible Cotton Sourcing Policy.

Setting and maintaining colour and handle standards and approved seals with suppliers.

- creating specs.
- assessing and sealing products, checking make-up, fit and quality.
- raising standards to comply with or exceed specific customers' requirements.
- problem solving & implementing improvements where necessary.
- liaising with UK customers and attending meetings with them as required.

Set up and organisation of Technical Files, standard swatches and lab dips

The Successful Applicant:

Currently working as an Assistant Technologist, Product Technologist or similar
Ideally with around a minimum of 2 years' experience gained in the home têxtiles industry;
A relevant Degree qualification in têxtiles,
Strong communication skills
Numerate with attention to detail & excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work to strict deadlines to meet customer requirements.
Professional approach, with confidence to represent the company
