We are now looking to recruit an Industrial Cleaner based in Wallasey.

The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for cleaning around the internal and external site. This will include high levels, walls, ceilings, windows, cladding, stainless steel, upholstery and any adhoc requests as required.


Duties

  • Clean all required areas to expected standards.
  • Use specific tooling and equipment required for the work.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all areas to specific standards.
  • You must be expected to use specific tooling such as industrial walk behind and sit on floor cleaners, vacuum cleaners, pan, brush.
  • You would be expected to work with cleaning detergents.
  • You must be able to work on overhead areas and when required use specific platforms.
  • Work safely by following all risk assessments, COSHH and environmental instructions.
  • Cleaning down machinery and the general areas to ensure a safe and clean environment is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure a high level of health and safety is maintained at all times by reporting any issues or incorrect procedures to the Management Team.
  • Ensure all waste products produced during tasks are segregated and disposed of correctly.
  • Adhere to all company & client policies, procedures, site rules and regulations.

Required

  • Willingness to learn and be dedicated to the job roles and company values.
  • Good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Good people skills; be able to communicate at all levels throughout the company and externally.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Experience of working in a factory environment.
  • FLT license / experience preferred although not essential.
