    What you will do:

  • As a fire and security engineer you'll dive into a hands-on role where every day brings exciting challenges and opportunities for growth. From installing cutting-edge fire detection systems to fine-tuning CCTV networks, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring safety and security for homes and businesses.
  • You will work closely with an experienced team of engineers learning how to protect individuals, homes and properties from risk and danger.
  • This involves installing and maintaining fire and security systems including fire alarms, intrusion detection, CCTV systems, and access control systems.
  • You will be traveling daily to client premises across a variety of sites: domestic, commercial, retail, and more.
  • This is a field-based position where regular travel is a requirement of the role, primarily working in the Dundee area.

  • As an apprentice you will attend our training college New College Lankarshire on block release while also having the support of your mentor and our dedicated training team.
  • On-the-job training will be provided working closely with our experienced Fire & Security engineers, many of these engineers have also been through our apprenticeship scheme so they are the perfect mentors to guide you through the apprenticeship.
