Description of the role


We are looking for someone keen to use their excellent administration and communication skills to support the delivery of our national and international membership schemes & services for dancers, teaching artists, community practitioners and organisations.


Summary


Together with our other part-time Membership Coordinator, offer a friendly and efficient first point of contact with our members and service users.

Coordinate the day-to-day administration and delivery of our membership and services offer.

Gather information and data to contribute to continual evaluation and improvement.

Support the Membership Development Manager to implement membership services development and growth plans in an inclusive and accessible way.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Working in collaboration with our other Membership Coordinator, and in close liaison with the Membership Development Manager, you will:


  • Customer Services and Membership Administration
Act as a knowledgeable first point of contact for enquiries about membership & services, responding to requests for information and offering support and signposting

Administer membership joining and renewals processes, maintaining records and distributing confirmations and other communications

Process payments and maintain payment records

Provide support for the provision of membership services, including evidence checking for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks

Support the delivery of an annual membership campaign, including coordinating notifications and communications materials to help maximise renewals

Attend and provide practical support at occasional in-person membership events.

Data and reporting
Maintain accurate member/membership records, in a manner that always complies with current data protection legislation and follows organisational procedures

Provide data reports as requested and contribute to ensuring data systems are effective and fit for purpose and can effectively inform planning


Liaise with other staff to ensure consistency of evaluation and other monitoring data collection in respect of membership and services.

Provide administrative support to the Membership Development Manager to implement and deliver membership and services development/growth plans

Contribute to the creation and distribution of digital and print materials about membership schemes and services

Contribute to the development/improvement of administrative and data systems.

Organisational development (common to all posts at People Dancing):
Maintain quality in execution and presentation of your work both internally and externally.


Work with existing and new information and communication technology and administrative systems, contributing to the development of these as appropriate.

Participate in the organisation's Staff Development and Appraisal activities.

Undertake your work with regard to the organisation's Health and Safety policies.


Carry out your duties with an understanding of and commitment to the organisation's Equal Opportunities policy and Access, Equity and Inclusion strategies.


Undertake other duties as reasonably requested to achieve the purpose and aims of both this post and the organisation generally.


Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months

Part-time hours: 17.5 per week


Salary:
£21,000.00 per year
