Handyman Position
Reactive 02 provide repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of commercial, residential and industrial clients.

Here at Reactive 02, our goal is to continually raise the benchmark for reactive and planned maintenance services, giving our clients access to a wide range of maintenance services and project capabilities.


The Job


As part of our client portfolios, they have regional distribution centres and we provide a routine handyman service to select sites of a large scale, putting teams of operatives on site full time to work through routine maintenance tasks on site.

This role is to be a supporting operative to a main tradesman on site to work through daily/weekly tasks provided on site.


For this role we are looking for someone who lives local to work with an existing team member on site.

There are lockers and tool storage on site, provided by the company along with the ability to remove any rubbish created on site.

Materials are delivered to site as and when needed.

A small van can be provided by the company for this role dependent on the applicant's suitability, but the current team lives locally and walks or bus journeys to site.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the tradesmen on delivering quality workmanship without close supervision
  • You will take a proactive approach to carry out repairs, maintenance and planned works in a safe manner and to a consistent high standard.
  • You will maintain accurate records of all work undertaken e.g., completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times
What you will need;

  • Experience in maintenance works/handyman tasks
  • Communication Skills
  • Ability to work on own or as part of a team
