- Carry out all the Professional Teacher Standards relevant to your pay scale
- Teach RE (non-exam) and Fundamental British Values (FBV) to Key Stage 4 students (16 x 1 hour lessons per week)
- Work with Heads of Department to maximise opportunities within relevant subject areas to develop students' awareness of different faiths and promote FBVs
- Co-ordinate events and activities to promote an understanding of different faiths across the UTC (KS4 and KS5)
- Engage with faith groups to promote students' awareness and understanding of different faiths (KS4 and KS5)
- Co-ordinate events and activities to promote FBVs across the UTC (KS4 and KS5)
- Engage with employer partners to promote students' understanding of FBVs within the work place
- Work with the Senior Assistant Principal, Safeguarding, Health and Wellbeing to organise visits from external agencies to teach students about RSE, Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Extremism & Radicalisation, Mental Health Awareness
- Implement all relevant RDUTC policies effectively and consistently
- Ideally, act as one of the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads
