    Our client is a leading engineering consultancy firm based in Edinburgh City Centre. They specialise in providing cutting-edge structural engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects, from commercial developments to residential constructions. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their team and contribute to the success of our projects.

    They are looking for a motivated and skilled Structural Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will work closely with their multidisciplinary team to design, analyse, and deliver structural engineering solutions for various projects. From concept development to construction documentation, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our structures.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop structural designs that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.


    • Conduct structural analysis and simulations using industry-standard software.


    • Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.


    • Perform site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and resolve any construction-related issues.


    • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters.


    • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.


    • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.


    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.


    • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.


    • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


    • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is a plus.
