    The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships.

    These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won't be solved by science alone.

    We are looking for a Digital Marketing Lead to join our team.

    Where in Wellcome will I be working?

    You will be leading the Digital Marketing Team , which sits in the Digital Communications and Product team in Corporate Affairs. You will report to the Lead Product Manager.

    The Digital Communications and Product team is responsible for producing digital content, continuous improvement of our digital products and channels and executing digital marketing campaigns.

    This supports the Corporate Affairs mission of building trust, reputation and influence with key audiences to advance Wellcome's vision and ambitions.

    What will I be doing?

    This maternity cover is responsible for Wellcome and Wellcome Collection's digital marketing. You will manage our relationship with our digital marketing agency and ensure that digital marketing is effectively used as part of integrated communications plans. You will also line manage the Direct Marketing Manager and CRM Specialist.

    As a Digital Marketing Lead you will :

    • Be the key point of contact for digital marketing advice and expert knowledge at Wellcome .
    • Manage the digital marketing agency, ensuring the delivery of excellent digital marketing campaigns that help us achieve our strategic goals.
    • Manage budget and ensure we get excellent return on our investment by monitoring and evaluating metrics.
    • Lead a motivated, flexible team whose skills and capabilities are maximised.
    • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.

    • Has demonstrable experience of digital marketing and managing multiple campaigns at once.
    • Can build excellent relationships across Corporate Affairs and wider Wellcome to further our mission and improve how we work.
    • Has line management experience.
    • Can work to deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
    • Is passionate about digital marketing and comfortable testing new approaches or working with new technologies .
    • Is data driven and uses insight and analytics to inform choices and improve.

    Our Hybrid Way of W orking

    We understand that our colleagues have commitments and personal interests outside of work and we strive to build a flexible working environment, in which people can perform at their best. We are currently working 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from our Euston Road offices (as part of our hybrid Ways of Working) with the remaining 3 days working either remotely or in the office.

    From 1 st September 2024 we will move to 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with the remaining 2 days working either remotely or in the office.
