My client, An Amlaw 10, Multi-national firm is seeking an Associate to join its Investment Management practice in Washington D.C.

The firm offers highly competitive compensation and benefits, paying their associates in accordance with the Cravath Scale. The position is open to associates from all levels of experience.

The firm offers services to a broad spectrum of businesspeople involved in all facets of investment management.

Their team has a wealth of knowledge in both registered funds and private funds, and many of their attorneys have expertise in both.

The team represents both fund managers and top institutional investors and provides advice to a wide range of private funds, including hedge, private equity, and venture capital funds.

Forming private investment funds, such as hedge funds and private equity funds.
Working on secondary transactions, including reviewing purchase and sale agreements, transfer agreements, and client management.
Assisting with investments by institutional investors in private funds and coinvestments.
Have familiarity with private fund structures and laws and regulations governing private funds and managers.
