    As our Health & Safety & Operations Manager, you act as the Health & Safety, Environmental & Facilities Management expert for our site in Milton Keynes.

    To develop strategies and manage the outsourced Total Facilities Management (TFM) service provider, including planning maintenance, building and capital works and actively demonstrating the operational and financial benefits to the Senior Leadership Team.

    To work with our external consultants to ensure that as a business and as a site we are adhering to the necessary HSE requirements at all times.

    Management of external TFM company and liaison with them on contracted services and all Facilities Management topics. Challenge cost-based performance and ensuring added value to the business .

    Develop and manage policies, plans and standards to ensure compliance with all applicable UK Health, Safety, and Environmental and Sustainability regulations considering any Daimler Truck AG Health, Safety, Environmental or Sustainability advice.

    Site responsible representative for Health and Safety matters, including site risk assessments and documentation, near miss and accident reporting, site induction and any applicable site training requirements such as DSE assessments, Manual Handling.

    Site contact for any requirements from local authorities.
    HSE, Fire Risk Inspection, Environmental Health Authorities. Close collaboration with the Quality Manager to achieve QMS/EMS integration and continuous improvement. Contribute to project change and risk management processes.

    Co-ordinate the delivery of small/medium projects, monitoring budget and resources, providing input into larger projects to support the operational delivery of the Facilities Management Service .

    Provide in-depth specialist advice to support Executive Management and Senior level decision-making .

    Communicate with Executive Management on accidents and incidents and advise on policy changes required to protect the organisation now and in the future.

    Tenant (Daimler Truck) liaison with XPO Facilities Management. Ø Contribute to company objectives by identifying long term strategies for process and procedural improvement within the business and within Corporate Real Estate
    Ø To always understand and up-hold the Daimler Truck Vision and lead by the company's values and behaviors
    Ø Experience of developing a facilities management strategy driven by internal and external business factors
    Ø A proven positive track record in relationship building and stakeholder management in a customer focused and outsourced environment
    Ø Significant experience of managing an out-sourced TFM (Total Facilities Management) service provider
    Ø Proven Building Services and Technical Knowledge (experience in this area would be desirable)
    Ø Experience of current related Health, Safety, and environmental compliance.
    Ø IT skills must include proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    Ø Retain a flexible approach and demonstrate crisis management skills .
    Ø Conscientious and loyal as well as open to demands of high-profile top-quality businesses .
    Ø To set high standards of communication within the department and the wider Corporate Real Estate community .
