I am working with an esteemed engineering company that focuses on delivering excellent public services across London.
The organisation, recipient of prestigious industry and corporate awards over the last 5 years, is looking to add an Asset Manager to theirgrowing Assets team.
The role would be suited to someone who is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Someone who is confident managing building-related assets across the organisation's portfolio, working with senior management on a variety of interestingprojects to assure accuracy and quality from start to finish.
Your new role:
- Asset Management of the company's portfolio
- Develop, justify and manage annual maintenance budget for building assets to deliver PARL scores to meet the organisation's obligations
- Take accountability for and deliver a Buildingsrelated work bank including Asbestos Management programme
- Review periodic Framework contractor performance
- Manage safety, cost, programme, and quality requirements in the delivery of inspection / maintenance / renewal works across the Buildings Portfolio
- Undertake site inspections / contractor works' audits on safety, quality and efficiency to ensure the organisation's Asset Strategies are met
- Ensure quality paperwork is compiled by contactor throughout programme, review Entry into Service and Hand back documentation, H&S Files and O&M Manuals. Ensure timely upload of information onto the organisation's shared asset drives and Asset Registersare kept up to date in the CAFM system
- Maintain good collaborative working relationship with key third party stakeholders
- Comply with all company processes and procedures including procurement and financial governance
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven work experience as an Asset Manager within the parameters of ISO 55001 Asset Management
- Excellent safety attitude and an eye for quality and detail
- Familiarity of the hazards and methods of work when working on or near electrical systems
- Working knowledge of design and visualisations software; AutoCAD would be advantageous
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Decision making ability and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Professional Registration of an accredited body or working towards registration
- Time management and organisation skills
- BSc/BEng degree in Engineering preferred or relevant field or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Personal Track Safety competence and Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) advantageous
- Knowledge of Network Rail Standards beneficial particularly NR/L2/INI/02009, Forms A/B, NR/L2/CIV/003 (F001, F002, F003, F004, F005, F006)
- Experience of using Microsoft and Google Suite Software
