The Decal Vinyl Installer/Technician will play a pivotal role in the taxi and van advertising industry, focusing on the application and removal of captivating decals and vinyl graphics.

This dynamic position involves assisting in designing visually compelling advertising graphics, utilising design software to create and modify decals based on client specifications.

With a keen eye for detail and precision, they will expertly apply decals on taxis, vans, and other vehicles, ensuring flawless alignment and a professional finish.

Collaborating with the wider team at Drovo, conducting site surveys, and adhering to project timelines are all vital aspects of this role, as is keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

Install vinyl decals on taxis, vans, and other vehicles with precision, ensuring proper alignment and a professional finish.
Conduct site visits to assess dimensions and identify potential challenges prior to installation.
Manage and prioritise installation and removal projects to meet deadlines and requirements.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including equipment, tools, and vinyl materials inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during installations/removals

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new vinyl materials, printing technologies, and design techniques to enhance service quality and offer innovative solutions to clients.

Travel to various locations for on-site installations and removals as required.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise workflows and improve overall efficiency in decal and vinyl installation processes.

Design visually appealing and effective advertising decals and vinyl graphics for taxis and vans, incorporating branding and promotional elements.

Utilise design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) to create and modify decal designs based on client specifications and brand guidelines.

Proven experience in decal vinyl installation, and removal, preferably in the taxi and van advertising industry. Strong attention to detail and precision in design and installation to deliver high-quality results.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to handle vinyl materials, perform installations, and work to deadlines.
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel around the UK for on-site installations.
Creativity, innovation, and a passion for staying up-to-date with design trends and industry advancements.
