About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Support Coordinator to join us here at BGBS and provide invaluable support and expertise to the inhouse Group Compliance Team and the wider business.
This is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong interest in commercial business, Business Management Systems, and lead auditing across multiple ISO standards.
This role could be a great first-step into a career in Compliance for someone with a background in commercial business or someone who has some exposure to a similar role already and looking to for a new challenge.

Bailie Group Business Services provides the People, Finance, IT, Compliance and Payroll support functions to the diverse operating companies within the Bailie Group.
As a shared services function, we employ a pool of knowledgeable individuals who work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to provide a critical support function.
Responsibilities:
- Internal and external audit planning and scheduling in support of the audit programmes.
- Monitoring the audit cycle programme to ensure it remains effective and up to date.
- Maintaining and updating the Compliance documentation and records.
- Ensuring any nonconformances are listed on the appropriate nonconformance log and corrective actions are assigned to the appropriate party.
- Carrying out follow up checks to monitor nonconformances and ensure actions are completed.
- Developing and maintaining databases, records for external verification, internal audit, and dealing with enquiries.
- Assisting in the maintenance records relating to internal audits.
- Taking minutes of meetings and ensuring appropriate followup actions from these meetings are completed.
- Assisting the Compliance Manager on various operational matters and projects.
- Providing administrative and clerical support to the Compliance Team where required.
Skills/Experience:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages with an interest in technology and systems
- Experience in partnering or working with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of office administration/clerical work/retail or other commercial business
- Experience of working in a team
- Understanding of Privacy laws, UK Data Protection Act and Management Systems desirable i.e., ISO standards ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO45001
