Azure Cloud Engineer

Are you a Azure cloud engineer looking for your next permanent role?

My client is driving the digital transformation of the world's leading financial institutions.

Other sectors, such as industry and insurance, also leverage their strong consulting and implementation skills across all aspects of pioneering technologies, suchas cloud engineering, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things for Industry 4.0, and blockchain.

In this instance they're recruiting for permanent Senior Cloud & Cloud engineer's to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be hybrid working with an expectancy to be in London city centre 1 day a week. They are looking to expand their rapidly growingAzure service offering.

To be successful for this position you will need

Microsoft Azure is the main technology
Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux based systems
DevOps background/experience
Experience with configuration management tools and infrastructure as code; Terraform, ARM templates, Cloud Formation, Deployment manager, YAML or PowerShell DSC.
Secondary knowledge in one of the following is an advantage; Puppet, Chef or Ansible
Knowledge of cloud core services; networks topologies, storage, load balancing, virtual machines, databases, containers, messaging, serverless, logging and monitoring.
Knowledge of basic security controls; Firewalls, Policy, ACLS (NSGs, VPC service controls), IAM, Encryption
Scripting ability (ideally Python or Powershell)
A passion for opensource technologies and the opensource community
Demonstrable experience in cloudautomation
