Description
Our HR Operations team supports Kaplan businesses by providing all of the core HR administrative and operational services and workforce information they need.
As a member of this team with specific responsibility for our HRIS, you'll play a key role in improving the quality and efficiency of our processes, data and reporting, as well as maximising the return on our investment in the Workday system.
Supporting our Global HRIS
- Documenting HRIS projects and enhancements to develop the system, so it continues to meet the Kaplan International group's evolving needs.
- Support requirement gathering and testing for implementations of newly launched or acquired Kaplan businesses units.
- Partner with an Employer of Record service to ensure we have uptodate information about international staff who are employed via a third party provider.
- Work with the HR team to obtain business requirements for Workday enhancements/projects.
- Raise projects, enhancements and issues with the HRIS specialists at our parent company (GHC) to build approved business requirements.
- Ensure training and guidance is available for users
Employee information reporting
- Maintain accurate employee information that helps us understand our business, make decisions and get things done
- Contribute to the production of the monthly HR KPIs and seek ways to improve validity and efficiency
- Prepare and provide compensation, EDI and other HR data to senior leaders within the organisation
- Ensure that our data retention and processing are compliant with all GDPR requirements
- Respond to general information requests from within and outside of the business while being mindful of data protection
- Undertake regular HRIS maintenance tasks and data audits
Process improvement
- Identify opportunities to make people processes simpler and more efficient
- Use stakeholder input to design improvements
- Pursue opportunities for automation and selfservice where possible
You'll also carry out other duties, within the broad scope and spirit of your role, as requested by your manager.

- A specialist HRIS role
- A more generalist HR operations role with a significant systems element
What you'll bring to the role
As a HRIS professional, you'll have/be:
- HRIS experience and capability (Workday experience is preferred)
- Track record of providing a good service to HR stakeholders
- Confident user of business systems (MS Office/Google)
- A practical problemsolving approach to HR issues, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when manipulating data
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication
