- To work In a busy Engineering department in our small close knit team performing daily duties to a certain quality standard and required output.
- Running, CNC flatbed lathes, Pillar drills, Milling machines, Bandsaws.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on CNC Machinery
- Solving minor issues on machines
- Identifying, logging, planning and carrying out preventative repairs
- Conducting regular machine diagnostics
- Basic welding operations
- Occasional Forklift operating
- Qualified at NVQ level 2 in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience Operating manual/CNC, flatbed machines. mainly threading programs and tapered threads.
- Manufacturing background is preferable but not essential
- Strong work ethic and team player.
- Up to £31,000 depending on experience
- Full time 8-5pm and Friday 8-4pm, 41.5-hour week
