WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE/DRIVER

Unitrunk a leading manufacturer of steel cable management systems are currently recruiting for a Warehouse/Driver position in our Bristol Depot based in Avonmouth


Job purpose:

This role will be split between both warehouse and driving company 7.5 tonne lorry.


Main duties and responsibilities:


  • Pick orders as per customer requirement, ensuring high level of accuracy
  • Make scheduled deliveries to customers as per agreed schedule
  • Deal with trade counter customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Loading and Unloading of vehicles and storage of all products in correct stock locations
  • Assist with stock checks as required

Keys skills and attributes:


  • Conscientious, punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be flexible and able to work between warehouse and driving duties
  • Selfmotivated
  • Full UK driving licence class C
  • CPC
  • Digital Tacho card
  • Ability to carry out manual handling duties
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience of working in warehouse environment
  • Previous experience of multi drop deliveries
  • Basic computer skills
  • Counterbalance forklift certificate

Benefits:


  • Rate of Pay £12.00 per hour
  • Holidays 33 days including bank holidays
