This FinTech have been fully remote since 2009 with a small team based across the UK.
They have a core product which offers a very wide range of functionality, as well as a newer business management platform, both in the life insurance & mortgages space.
Withan international client base spread across Europe and the US, they're now focusing on adding and improving features in their original product, as well as growing the functionality offering of the new platform.
Lots of variety and building lots of momentumin the marketWhat experience you'll need:
- Full-Stack web development expertise with background in the MS stack.
- Wellversed with things like C#.Net, ASP.Net,.Net Framework,.Net Core.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JSON, jQuery, Webpack, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience using VueJS (Vuex, Vuetify would be useful) or a willingness to learn.
- Style pre/post processors (LESS), BEM.
- REST APIs, OO programming.
- Any cloud experience (AWS, EC2, Aurora, Route53 etc.) would be beneficial.
- MS SQL, MySQL, SQL Querying.
What you'll be doingJoining a small team of full-stack developers you will support the business in adding and enhancing features/functionalities to their product offering, covering the full-stack but leaning more towards the front-end with an eye for design and seamless UI/UX.You'll research new solutions and help to implement them, contributing to the entire lifecycle with an influence on technical direction and implementing emerging tech. They work with Vue on the front-end so you'll need to be comfortable using it (or pickingit up), as well as helping to build on their component library by producing efficient and re-usable code.
