    We're looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful Junior Product Designer who is passionate about designing great Digital products. If you're creative and inspired to design amazing products that customers love, please join us We would really love to work with you

    Working with the Senior Product Designer, the Junior Product Designer is responsible for producing critical artefacts such as user journeys, wireframes and sitemaps, pattern libraries, style guides and prototypes. You'll deploy expert knowledge of digital user experiences and web design to ensure that we deliver strong interaction design principles, founded on user research, to define the user experience for new capability or enhancements to existing user journeys across all digital devices, continuously striving to improve the design look and feel of all of E.ON Next business applications.

    We're not looking for a junior designer to just take our product vision and create some designs. We want to do better than that We want someone who can translate the language of design to our whole team, someone to coach us along with the Senior Product Designer, so we can all create experiments and to understand what our business users really want and above all we want to bring a new E.ON Next brand to life.

    You are the voice of the end user, understanding their goals and designing simple, clean, impactful Digital customer experiences which fully comply with the industry regulation and stand E.ON Next above its competitors in the UK energy retail markets.

    A taste of what you'll be doing.

    Working with the Senior Product Designer - Defining the User Experience of Next's business applications taking brand playbook concepts and bringing them to life through the delivery of an industry leading product design

    Have a strong UX process based on data, analytics and qualitative feedback

    Experience with design programmes such as Figma

    Work with developers and the Product Managers to ensure designs are correctly implemented

    Have knowledge in design systems and how they work

    Have a strong sense of modern design culture and agile methodologies

    Conduct research to understand user needs and requirements

    Leverage analytics and insights to guide the design process

    Work collaboratively with product, design and tech to define the product vision and scope

    Develop clickable prototypes for rapid reviews, development and testing

    Work on short design sprints to develop PoCs ahead of the engineering team

    Assist with presentations and contribute to scoping projects and timelines

    Communicate with team members and stakeholders in an effective and competent manner

    Knowledge of Agile methodologies

    Ability to gather inputs from end-users, SMEs, stakeholders, the business and technology teams

    Self-starting, self-organising and able to adapt to multiple roles within the product lifecycle

    Understanding of analytics tools

    Passion for all things UX, technology and design

    An ability to tell compelling stories about your designs and present your work with confidence

    Strong documentation skill

    Ability to prioritise projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time

    Comfort in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders

    Portfolio showing your thought process and UX design solutions for mobile, apps, and responsive web
