    Sofina Foods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join our team at the Fraserburgh site in Scotland. As a key member of the site's senior management team, the Senior Planner will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating production activities to ensure optimal efficiency and seamless operations. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Scotland Cluster Lead, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our operations and contribute to the continued growth of a leading food manufacturing company.

    Duties Include:

    • Act as a professional and trusted advisor to the Supply Chain Cluster Lead on all Planning, forecasting, scheduling, wider supply chain and team matters relating to the site.
    • Build relationships with customer and account managers to support labour and material forecasting.
    • Drive and build effective planning processes, encouraging a mindset of continuous improvement in the team to unlock manufacturing capacities and operational efficiencies.
    • Develops effective processes that ensure stock levels are maintained according to Company targets and that effective and decisive action is taken to avoid these targets not being achieved.
    • Ensures focus on our customer demands and service, availability and sales and ensures operational plans are developed in line with the wider Supply Chain strategy.
    • Develops and delivers Planning goals and action plans to contribute to the achievement of overall site business objectives and ensures effective collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve this.
    • Ensure robust planning of the factories, ensure all plans are robust, planned on time and communicated with the team in advance.
    • Collate and prepare mid range demand plans and requirements for monthly S&OP meetings.
    • Leads a culture of continuous improvement across the wider supply chain team.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • Significant experience in a senior planning role.
    • Experience working in the food industry, in the chilled and fresh sector.
    • A strong communicator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong skills manipulating data on Excel
    • The ability to mentor and develop team members
    • Willingness to dive in and embrace all things "supply chain".
    • Experience using planning systems.
    • Ability to manage priorities and projects across a multi-site and multi-function organisation as required.
    • Experience of working in a chilled FMCG environment, preferably having had High Care and / or High-Risk Seafood exposure.
