A fast growing Accountancy Practice seeks a Practice Manager. We are looking for a commercially minded accountant to support growth, build a team and structure client delivery, globally. As the Practice Manager, you'll work closely with the MD and Partnersas key pillar to drive further growth. You will be an ambitious qualified accountant looking for a new challenge in a commercial, entrepreneurial environment. Perhaps this may be your first management opportunity.The Role - Practice Manager
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, (private clients and SMEs)
- Be clients main point of contact
- Build and develop a team
- Supervise and review the work of junior staff members
- Meeting and entertaining potential/existing clients.
- Billing, credit control and client DD.
- Prepare and review accounts, personal tax returns, corp tax returns, bookkeeping and payroll functions.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounts, VAT and tax, particularly
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent (we won't rule out a strong QBE)
- Preferably you will come from a small practice
- You must be a qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
