    The exponential growth of technology has made IT one of the critical success factors for every business function within JDE. To enable IT as a competitive advantage, we are transforming our IT department towards a true technology business partner. The department of Global Information Services (GIS), administers this in three expertise area's: Infrastructure and Shared Platforms, Strategy and Planning and Business Solutions.

    As the Cluster IT Manager, you will be the driving force behind our technological evolution. Your mission: to turn the "Art of Possible" into reality. You will lead a team of tech enthusiasts, create IT strategies based on business goals and strategy as well, and ensure our IT is second to none. You also will be the single point of contact for the cluster, representing Global Information Services towards business leadership and local stakeholders, as well as is the champion of the cluster business within GIS, accountable for end-to-end IT engagement, business technology strategy development, service management, risk management and relationship management towards our business functions.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing IT strategies that emphasize digital transformation and innovation towards value proposition, based on business objectives, challenges and opportunities, to enhance the organization's competitiveness, agility and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and engaging IT teams to support our business operation and drive innovation, ensuring they have the capabilities and resources needed for successful transformation initiatives.
  • Technology Management: Overseeing the selection, deployment and ongoing optimization of technologies that deliver value to our company, aligned with global IT landscape and governance.
  • Change Management: Implementing effective change management strategies to ensure that digital transformation initiatives are smoothly adopted across the organization. This includes communication, training, and fostering a culture of adaptability and innovation.
  • Budget Management: Managing the IT budget with a focus on allocating resources to support digital transformation initiatives and ensuring a strong return on investment. Ensures that the IT cost model for the cluster is accurate and transparent.
  • Stakeholder Management: building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, vendors, and customers, to ensure IT initiatives support their needs and expectations.

    For this role as a Cluster IT Manager UK&I, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience of working in IT and FMCG business/industry
  • Experience in an advisory role in Information Systems to the business leadership function
