    Elvet Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a PA / Senior Administrator to join a construction business in Gateshead.

    This role will provide full administrative and secretarial support to the North East Directors, together with general support to the regional office, in line with the groups policies and procedures.

    This is a fixed-term contract lasting for 7 months. Responsibilities * PA support to northeast regional office Directors * Diary management including arranging meetings and events. * Support the submission of board reports including monthly set up, collation and inserting of data, combining files, etc. * Attend and take actions at monthly board meetings. * Prepare agendas for various monthly meetings. * Collate, save and print reports for various monthly meetings. * Inbox management * Process cash and credit card expenses. * Book travel and accommodation via in-house portal * Produce documents including letters, reports and presentations. * Maintain systems and filing structures. * Company archiving * Communicate procedural changes/requirements to Directors. * General administration including printing, binding, scanning, etc. * Other ad hoc duties as requested by Directors. * Regularly liaise with PAs, office managers and other administrative staff * SHE administration
    • Employee Health Surveillance * Track and arrange health surveillance for all employees (monthly clinics) * Flag issues and recommendations to line managers and the SHE department * Liaise with provider on clinics, recalls and independent medical assessments.
    * Arrange independent medical assessments including travel, where required. * People administration * Raise new starter and leaver forms. * Order IT equipment and associated software.

    * Ensure return of all IT equipment to the IT department, and flag mobile phone returns/changes to Office Coordinator * Use People First (in-house HR system) for logging absence and health surveillance reports.

    * Raise CapEx requests, same day payments and BACS requests. * Liaise with Finance on payment of ad hoc invoices. * Process ad hoc online payments using company credit card. * Prepare monthly salary allocations, issue for completion and submit to Payroll. Experience / Qualifications A high degree of confidentiality and awareness of GDPR protocols. Ability to react and adapt to changing priorities.

    Excellent degree of computer literacy and proficient in IT including:
    Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel Microsoft Teams including chats, channels, meetings and files. Excellent attention to detail. Good standard of education including Maths and English.
