Description

Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside an Ofsted-rated 'Good' co-educational secondary school and sixth form located in the English town of Oxted, Surrey.

We are looking for passionate and driven teaching assistants to join the already strong workforcewho will aid students on a 1-1 basis and as a general teaching assistant.

The role is to start after the Christmas break onto, possibly, the end of the academic year. The school are looking to interview and trial immediately.

Start date:
January 2023

Pay rate:
£80 - £90 a day

Time: 8:30am - 3:15, Monday to Friday term time only

The responsibilities:

Work with students on an individual and/or small group basis, in and out of lessons
Support staff members in creating an effective and safe learning environment, by dealing with behaviour that disrupts learning, and providing coaching and peer support to staff members to develop behaviour management strategies
Work with teachers to assess the needs of individual pupils, implement Individual Behaviour Plans and monitor their use and effectiveness
Monitor the progression of all identified students and implement interventions
Actively promote the safety and welfare of the pupils

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold a high-level degree
Your CV must cover 10 years of employment
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom
