Commercial Finance Manager - Independent PR / Communications Agency
Based Central London offering flexible hybrid working
Paying £60, ,000 + Benefits and Bonus
Talentedge are currently working with a really exciting high growth independent PR & Communications Agency who are looking to hire a Commercial Finance Manager to join their already established team during this period of exciting growth.
This is an excellent commercial opportunity working closely with various key business stakeholders both finance and non finance including excellent worldwide exposure working across a number of high growth regions the business currently operates in to helpfacilitate further business development.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and managing a small finance team
- Manage all daytoday accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Support the senior team with setting the financial strategy and decisionmaking process
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances and recommend actions.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Creating regular and ad hoc reports (annually and monthly) which identified results, trends and forecasts
- Coordinate with local advisors the preparation of regulatory reporting including dealing with the auditors and preparation of financial accounts
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support monthend and yearend close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls whilst continually seeking process improvement and efficiencies
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- ACCA / ACA / CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Relevant sector experience ideally with an agency background
- Experience working with international markets is preferred
- A driven and ambitious individual who is keen to make a real impact on the business
