Description
The Commercial Executive with play a key role in supporting the Commercial Manager to achieve the businesses commercial goals.

You will help to merchandise, update and communicate new products & offers, monitor competitor activities and help to source/exploit new opportunities to grow the business.


You'll work closely with cruise line partners, and you'll communicate on a daily basis with the Sales and Marketing teams.

Some work on International websites may also be required.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting Commercial Managers and the wider team to hit volume and margin targets,
  • Liaising with cruise lines to source and create compelling cruise offers,
  • Ensuring that cruise products are effectively marketed and merchandised,
  • Developing deep knowledge of different cruise lines and their customers,
  • Establishing a thorough understanding of the varied ways that cruise lines supply rates for offers,
  • Ensuring commercial content (campaigns, itineraries, pricing etc.) is accurate and up to date,
  • Developing a thorough understanding of all the elements of cruise package holidays,
  • Working with other departments to share knowledge and understand of our products,
  • Regularly reviewing and analyzing competitor activity to ensure best customer value/margin,
  • Supporting the wider commercial team when required with ad hoc tasks,
  • More senior individuals will have responsibility for independently managing cruise line accounts,
  • More senior individuals will be expected to meet their own commercial targets.

The Person:


  • Strong commercial awareness, with any previous background preferable but not required,
  • Able to work in a deadlinedriven, fastpaced environment to deliver against commercial objectives,
  • Confident and analytical approach to problem solving and decision making,
  • Willingness to learn and develop with the appropriate coaching and feedback,
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently and manage work of others,
  • Selfmotivated with a positive outlook with an enthusiastic cando approach to work.
