    This is a full-time position based at our office in Victoria, London and will involve UK-wide travel.

    Office hours: 9am to 5:30 am

    Reporting to – Senior Relationship Director

    The company offers high net worth individuals a better way to access investment in UK private companies.

    We focus on UK smaller buyouts, one of the highest performing sectors of private equity, and our investors enjoy remarkable flexibility and transparency, with no long-term fund commitment, no fees to pay and quarterly reporting on each company. We typically invest £5-10m per company, with each high-net-worth individual investing £25k-200k per company.

    We source HNW investors through investor referrals and targeted online and offline marketing.

    We operate in a highly regulated environment and we are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

    Purpose of role
    • attract more direct HNW investors and increase the volume of investment into private equity transations
    • build strong relationships with high net worth investors and family offices
    • promote the benefits of investing in profitable private companies and communicate our services and investment offers to relevant investors
    • maintain and build the companies reputation in the market.
    Activities
    • identify and prioritise relevant HNW prospects.
    • plan and execute a programme of targeted communications to create sales opportunities.
    • secure meetings with appropriate high value investors and other introducers/intermediaries.
    • devise key account plans, execute these and deliver targeted sales volumes.
    • collaborate with other team members to ensure best approach for each account.
    • record all activity and client/intermediary information using the Salesforce CRM database.

    Requirements

    • proven fund-raising experience & achieving sales targets for investment business through HNW direct relationships.
    • significant existing HNW contact base
    • good understanding of the UK Wealth Management arena.
    • good understanding of the UK SME Private Equity arena.
    • ability to form trusting relationships with HNW direct investors.
    • ability to persuade and inform using telephone and email and in person.
    • deep commitment to a sustained high level of outbound communication.
    • understanding of UK financial services and the investment options open to private individuals.
    • plenty of initiative - to pursue new sales & relationship building ideas.
