- 1 year+ experience in a Senior leadership role with a background in Software Engineering
- Foster a culture of transparent communication and continuous feedback among the team
- Roadmap planning: using short and mid-term goals to motivate the team
- Knowledge of software architecture, cloud technologies (AWS), and modern programming languages (Typescript)
- Start-up / scale-up experience would be ideal, this business currently have ~50 employees and are continuing to grow
- Proven ability to optimise team efficiency, balancing both strategic and operational needs
- The ability to make decisions and willingness to challenge, validate and qualify your ideas and assumptions, acting in the interests of the business and the user

An online fitness & wellness business are looking for an Engineering Manager.
As an Engineering Manager you will focus on streamlining daily managerial duties, optimising sprints, and working with their Head of Engineering to develop product strategies. This is a hands-on role that requires a balance between managerial duties and tech prowess across You'll be working with their software engineers to build and maintain features, and act as an intermediary between the developers and key stakeholders in the business.
