Our Manufacturing Client (Antrim & Magherafelt) require an Engineering Manager / Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to manage the design function (Salary 50-60K).

As an Engineering Manager / Lead Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the operation of the vehicle design dept.

You'll ensure accuracy of drawings and specifications, understand Type Approval Requirements and be comfortable as a member of the Senior Management Team.

The Role:

Develop Aspects of Business Strategy whilst displaying excellent 3D modelling skills Manage dept design engineers and processes in a hands on fashion.

Ensure accuracy of drawings and specifications Develop New Products and Assist with Costings Liaise with Customers & Improve efficiencies, assist with documentation The Person:

You'll have strong 3D modelling skills and come from a Manufacturing background (Vehicles Ideal) Good Knowledge of legislation & Type Approval Good People Mgt and Project Mgt skills Excellent Communication & IT Skills You'll be comfortable in working to deadlines Interested?
