    Description

    Seeking an experienced Lead Controls and Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control and software systems for development of hydrogen systems. This role requires strong expertise in safety systems, HMI/SCADA/DCS, and commissioning management, along with proficiency in various protocols and electrical safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement safety systems, including safety controllers, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA/DCS systems for real-time monitoring and control.
    • Lead commissioning activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT), to ensure system functionality and performance meet project requirements.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the controls and software engineering team, ensuring successful project execution.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, including panel design/layouts, wiring diagrams, and wiring tables, to support system design and installation activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control and software systems with other project components, such as electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems.
    • Implement diagnostic trouble/error/event code traceability features to facilitate system troubleshooting and maintenance.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls and software engineering. Designing not maintenance.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and C/C++.
      • Experience with HMI/SCADA/DCS systems, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting. #
    • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations, including 3- phase distribution systems.
    • Experience with commissioning management, including FAT/CAT activities and documentation.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead crossfunctional teams and drive project success
