Salary:
Up to £45K
What you'll be doing:
There are 2 aspects to this role
- incident management escalation point for International customers managing complex tickets to a resolution liaising with end customers and suppliers
Managing the EIT SIAM response so that BAE is prepared for and passes the regular CE+ audit accreditation.
This will include:
- Devising and documenting the policies and processes for handling of HIAB data from Security
- Supporting and maintaining the required records for CE + audit compliance to agreed requirements
- Leading on and facilitating communications between stakeholders including suppliers to BAE, EIT internal teams and Business Group representatives, acting as a single point of contact for defined groups
- Managing open communication and discussion between stakeholders
- Capturing, agreeing and disseminating technical and business information presenting outputs to all levels of stakeholders by use of Excel and process documentation to ensure key actions have been captured and progressed
- Assisting other areas of IT process, service, project and component costs aiming to reduce or improve one or more areas
- Raising a number of improvement ideas for the Continual Improvement process in EIT
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience of working in an IT Development Function
- Knowledge of working within a SIAM operating model
- Experience of practicing a range of ITIL processes in large complex organisation
- Previous background of handling complex data sets and audits
- Ability to handle pressure and communicate effectively
- Be trained at least to ITIL foundation and either appropriate ITIL Intermediate or other appropriate capability training is desirable
- Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. HNC / Prince 2 Foundation / Computer Science Degree)

The IT team:
You will be joining a team in which you will lead a range of activities to deliver Cyber Essentials actions for the score of the enterprise managed estate, giving you exposure to all of the business units within BAE Systems.
