    Job Role:

    Provide Planning support in respect to information required for materials, services, and dates to meet performance objectives, including but not limited to procurement forecasting, inventory holding and MRP/MPS efficiencies to ensure the requirements of internal customers and production forecasts are met. Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver customer demand.

    Provide support at a functional level. As directed by line management; comply with given tactical strategy to support functional Planning objectives.

    Always comply with functional and business procedures and policies. Ensure that all contact with third parties, represents Rapiscan in a professional and competent manner ensuring compliance with all relevant Rapiscan functional and business policies, but not limited to contractual policies, quality systems, ethical trading practises and statutory obligations.

    Provide performance metrics.

    Responsibilities

    • Expediting planning Information by Working collaboratively with other departments such as Customer Project Management and Engineering to understand and deliver customer demand.
    • Run regular cross functional team meetings for specific projects.
    • Monitor, report, and input/maintain data integrity within the given purchasing/planning / store's parameters.
    • Support planning requirements for Operations as required.
    • Maintain, analyse, and ensure accurate planning reporting functionality.
    • Support the raising of works orders ensuring a high level of accuracy when required and other ad hoc planning tasks.
    • Implement given processes and procedures necessary to ensure the effective maintenance and development of Rapiscan demand processes within your remit.
    • Maintaining database of outstanding orders/expediting requirements.
    • Application of given performance criteria for MRP efficiency/effectiveness. Review and report / escalate issues to line management contributing to improvement activity as directed, applying given problem solving and corrective action tools.
    • Comply with functional Competency Matrix requirements for the role, engaging with development programmes as required by, agreed by line management.

    Qualifications and experience:

    • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience in ERP/MRP systems (Navision / D365).
    • Proven ability to work well with others at all organisational levels, to organise and prioritise, and to participate on cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in Planning processes, including but not limited to inventory management and data integrity.
    • A proven track record in working to; and meeting SLA's.
    • Proven ability to understand and manipulate complex data sets.
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
    • Relevant production planning experience.
