Description

Responsibilities:

  • Sort and organize mail for delivery
  • Load and unload mail from delivery vehicle
  • Drive delivery vehicle along designated routes
  • Deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses
  • Collect outgoing mail from post office boxes and homes
  • Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues

Experience:


  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is not essential as training will be provided
  • Ability to lift heavy packages and boxes
  • Familiarity with driving a van or similar vehicle
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£13.37 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Paisley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
