We are a 56-bedroom home based in Banff, Aberdeenshire. Ours is a family run business with extensive experience of working in the care industry.

We have started a refurbishment program designed to an extremely high standard, with a view to creating a dementia friendly environment throughout.

Our main priority is the care of our residents and as we continue to develop our exceptional service, we require an enthusiastic and self-motivated receptionist who would welcome the chance to become the first point of contact at our home.

About you
You should have an excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

Experience of working at reception or in an office environment - within the care sector would be an advantage.


Educated to SVQ 3 in Business Administration is desirable but not essential as training can be provided as the role includes administrative tasks.

Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages - particularly Word & Excel is essential.


Ability to be flexible to work alone and as part of a team and to adapt to change and unpredictable circumstances is essential in our busy environment.

Ability to prioritise and manage workload.

A working knowledge of the Data Protection Act is desirable and ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
