Description

Programme Manager for Decommissioning Platform as a Service required to work with a central government department. This is an initial 12-month contact, paying £750 per day, outside of IR35, hybrid or remote working.

This is a great opportunity to work at the centre of digital public sector overseeing and having ownership of the decommissioning of a large government programme.

As Programme Manager, you will:

Support the planning, govern and drive the delivery of the decommissioning programme for PaaS ensuring we maximise the chance of agreed decommissioning deadlines being met. The contractor will bring extensive programme management capability and knowledgein order to ensure that the department is able to successfully decommission PaaS and meet all contractual, legal and crossGovernment requirements for doing so.
Establish a known decommissioning programme for PaaS, which sees each of the tenants with its own path to migration away from the platform within the agreed timeline.
Set up effective programme governance, which permits for the regular tracking and reporting of decommissioning activities by each platform tenant.
Support the establishment of new business cases, supporting the assessment of options as a key programme activity.
Drive and guide commercial work and engagement with 3rd parties.

Experience and qualifications required:

Extensive experience in programme management of digital programmes that require technical governance and delivery.
Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner
PRINCE2 Practitioner
