    We are the consulting division of Davies, accelerating business, technology and people performance across financial services including banking, asset and wealth management, insurance and other highly regulated industries.

    We are currently seeking a Director to join our team on a permanent basis within our Asset & Wealth Management practice in London.

    The opportunity:

    The Director will be a motivated, self-starter with a credible and proven track-record in the leadership of delivery programmes and projects in the wealth/retail investment sector.

    The Director will act as a senior and experienced member of the Asset & Wealth Management consulting team in order to:

    You will:

    • Lead client engagements and ensure they are run to a high professional standard, meet agreed client success criteria, are performed efficiently and are profitable.
    • Develop strong relationships with clients and prospects.
    • Professionally network successfully and present with credibility.
    • Develop, lead and support opportunities, pitches and proposals.
    • Originate opportunities that lead to delivered revenue against an agreed revenue and margin target.
    • Develop and lead existing and new client accounts.
    • Lead the development of new ideas, IP and thinking, particularly relating to programme delivery.
    • Support, develop and improve internal processes.
    • Contribute to the development of the consulting practice propositions (especially those related to implementation and delivery).
    • Participate appropriately in internal consultancy practice management.
    • Act as a line manager, mentor and motivator to less experienced consulting team members.
    • Potentially (over time) give presentations on subjects of expertise and be seen as an expert in delivery related specialisms (own choice).
    • Act as an ambassador for the practice and the firm at industry events.
    • Identify and perform activities that lead to the growth of the consulting practice and the firm overall.

    Your experience:

    Capabilities required to do the role:

    • Strong track record of leading large and/or complex business and technology change programmes and projects.
    • Must have wealth management and delivery experience.
    • Ability to connect and communicate with C-level and executive stakeholders.
    • Excellent vendor management and influencing skills.
    • High quotient of emotional intelligence / balance.
    • Self-drive and personal ambition to work under a full and steady workload.
    • Strong relationship building/maintaining skills with an effective consulting approach.
    • Self-competence with MS Office suite.
    • Ability and flexibility for occasional work-related travel.
