Assistant Accountant
Role:
Provide support to customers using the software; mentor and coach junior colleagues
Location: 3 days a week in the Wokingham office

As an Accounting Customer Support Consultant, you will provide exceptional customer support to clients using the software.You'll be an exceptional individual, building rapport with customers and a passion to use your knowledge of Accounts and FinancialReporting to deliver solutions.
This role will use your Accounting expertise to provide mentoring and coaching to colleagues.This is a brilliant role and time to join - the team is expanding and with a passion for career progression, you will be able to makean impact quickly and fulfil your long-term career ambitions.
Assistant Accountant:
- Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily work flow for Customer Support Executives in the team
- Provide training and on the job training for colleagues to grow their accounts knowledge and customer service skills
- Write, update and maintain support and training materials
- Ensure you and the team have a deep knowledge of products
Assistant Accountant - Requirements**:
- Accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, or AAT Level 2 or above)
- 3 years experience working in an Accountancy Practice
- Experience and knowledge of 2 of the following: Knowledge of bookkeeping up to trial balance, understanding of double entry transactions and journals required after the trial balance has been input, final accounts preparation, understanding of differentaccounting standard regimes (FRS105, FRS102 (1A)), Creation of iXBRL Accounts for HMRC Filing, Use of accounts production and iXBRL software
- Experience of tax return preparation
- Strong customer service focus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
