Customer Service Assistant

Up to £25,000 DoE (+ bonus)

Stroud


Our client, a communications provider that are experts in their industry is recruiting for a Customer Services Assistant to join them.

The appointed Customer Service Assistant will enjoy speaking to customers and nurturing strong business relationships.

The successful Customer Service Assistant will recommend products, understand their clients strategies/goals, and identify business development opportunities.

Responsibilities:


  • Build relationships with the key decisionmakers within your client's business
  • Deal with administration, focusing on customer retention, & manage/develop an account base
  • Seek out new leadgeneration opportunities through referrals and introductions
  • Report to the management team on any improvements, change requirements, and innovations you believe will improve the quality of the management system
  • Initiate customer meetings with decision makers for the business development managers to present customer proposals and quotations (virtually or in person as appropriate)
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting of anticipated sales and regular activity reporting
  • Keep abreast of industry and technology developments
  • Follow ISO and operating standards and highlight any areas of concern
  • Ensure the office is kept tidy and records up to date

Skills/ Experience:


  • Experience in a customerfacing role
  • Selfstarter and skilled negotiator
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Confident on the telephone and online Teams / Zoom
  • Ability to deliver formal presentations
  • Commercially minded with good business acumen
