    About the Role

    The Finance Business Partner is part of a team responsible for delivering impactful and insightful business critical information to the organisation. You will be responsible for producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and contribute to the 5-year business plan. This will include detailed and summary analysis in numerical, graphical, and written formats. You will build trusted relationships with budget holders and senior executives to provide support and influence the decision-making process and helping them understand results.

    Lead on financial aspects of business cases including costing complex proposals and reviewing the development of existing products and services for defined business areas.

    You will have the opportunity partner with the wider organisation and be involved with major projects.

    Your expertise with Excel and financial systems will be used to enhance reporting, improve financial controls, and drive accurate forecasting and budgeting.

    What are we looking for?

    Essential:

  • Professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, Part Qualified or QBE.
  • Strong experience in management accounting and finance business partnering, and financial analysis with the ability to interpret financial information.
  • Strong influencing, excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability and flexibility to adapt to the audience.
  • Ability to process large quantities of financial data and extract insightful information to support the decision-making process.
  • Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in other Microsoft packages, and experience with accounting systems.
  • Desirable:

  • Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant
  • Experience with Open Accounts Experience of Funder Reporting
  • Experience of working in commercial and not for profit organisations
