    Engineering Technologies Lead

    Foster a culture of transparency and trust with operations teams, service partners and customers a minimum of 3 days on site per week .

    GSC R&D Engineering Services provides Facilities Management and Capital Projects delivery for Technical R&D sites within GSC's Engineering and EHS organization.

    The Engineering Technologies Lead provides strategic leadership for the selection, deployment and upkeep of technologies and digital solutions in support of facility operations, engineering, and capital projects at R&D sites globally.

    The role will also be the liaison with the WREF and Tech organizations responsible for establishing service level agreements and partnering to deliver projects with minimal disruption to business operations.

    Single point of accountability for engineering technologies at R&D sites globally.
    Business owner of key engineering platforms (Engineering Content Management, CMMS/CCMS, Capital Project tracking, ePTW).

    Subject matter expertise to R&D sites for implementing value-add digital solutions to standardize and efficiently share facility operations and engineering information.

    Representing R&D engineering services, partner with WREF and Tech to introduce needed R&D-owned solutions and ensure Tech-owned solutions are implemented in a planned and compliant manner.

    This role will foster a culture of transparency and trust with operations teams, service partners and customers by being present a minimum of 3 days on site per week.

    Build relationships with key senior GSK management and Service Partners to enable the selection, deployment and upkeep of engineering platform technologies and digital solutions in support of facility operations, engineering, and capital projects at R&D sites globally.

    Benchmark engineering technology and platform solutions with external suppliers and industry peers as a key input to embed continuous improvement.

    Partner with WREF and Tech to develop, plan, and execute 3–5-year capital Tech investment plans for R&D sites supported by appropriate cost estimates.

    Act as Business Owner of key engineering platforms (Engineering Content Management, CMMS/CCMS, Capital Project tracking, ePTW) and manage the lifecycle of the systems.

    As subject matter expert, develop policies, procedures, and training materials for system users of engineering platforms.
    Collaborating with R&D Engineering Services leaders to understand digital solution needs and integrate data & analytics to support facility operations, engineering and compliance (e.g., Responsible for successful delivery of technology projects in support of R&D Engineering Services.
    Ensuring compliance with GSK data privacy and cyber security policies for all engineering technologies.
    Holds degree in Business, Science or Engineering

    Experience managing engineering platforms that support facility operations such as Engineering Content Management systems, electronic Permit to Work systems, safety Change Control systems, Capital Project tracking, CMMS and CCMS systems.

    Experience collaborating with Data & Analytics teams to implement value-add digital solutions in support of facility operations and engineering (e.g. dashboards, AIML, etc.).
    Experience in project management with proven ability to improve operations and engineering processes using technologies (e.g. predictive maintenance, mobile/electronic solutions, etc.).
    Practical working knowledge of computer systems, digital platforms and technology processes used to support pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
    Experience collaborating with Tech organizations to implement Tech-owned solutions at sites (e.g. occupancy sensors, A/V equipment, WiFi, server installs, etc).

    Experience with driving transformation initiatives across a regional/global organization, using a combination of lean, change management, and project management skills.
