We are seeking to appoint to two full time permanent Digital Skills Facilitator positions.
We are looking for motivated, dynamic individuals who are confident communicators with experience in the delivery of training, the development of training materials and the creation of lesson plans.
Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.
We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.

To ensure that the Trust's training programmes are aligned with the objectives and strategic direction of both clinical and corporate services.
Support in the development and implement relevant training policies across the Trust.
Deputise for colleagues within the Team as required, on issues at corporate, local and regional levels.
Systems Administration and Maintenance
Maintenance of all system business processes, data structures, codes and security requirements.
Identify, document and report system faults using the system supplier's on-line portal/reporting system.
Develop, document and maintain the version control of document templates and structured assessment forms.
Develop, document and maintain routine operational and clinical reports held in the systems.
Support the full documentation of the system configuration and deployment and ensure that this documentation is regularly updated.
Participation in fault management and maintenance of systems including development of supporting documentation
Participation in improving and maintaining data quality within GMMH systems including checking, validating and correcting data errors where appropriate.
Identify, support and assist in the delivery of the operational benefits of the systems.
Identify and document the ongoing functionality and usability requirements for operable systems, including developments and enhancements to the system.
Participate in the thorough testing of any software upgrades prior to release on to the live environment. Investigate and resolve any issue highlighted by the testing working closely with system supplier and other IM&T colleagues.
Liaise with the system users and user groups regarding fault management and new feature suggestions.
Assist with the development of policies and procedures relating to the use of the systems.
Make recommendations for changes to the system (coding or configuration changes) and help to define the requirements in detail.
Projects
Work closely with the identified project leads and other key stakeholders to design training plans.
Assist in the development of project plans and associated documentation.
Ensure related project documentation is kept up to date.
Attend project team and workstream meetings and provide timely feedback as required.
Act as Systems lead on small projects, providing systems/training advice and expertise.
Provide highlight and exceptions reports within projects where necessary.
Line Management
Provide line management to the Assistant Systems Officer on a day-to-day basis, including the planning and organising of staff rotas and duties.
Deputise for the Senior Systems Officers as required, on issues at corporate, local levels.
To participate in the IM&T on-call rota, providing out of hours support.
Analytical and Judgement Skills
To be responsible for fault analysis and investigating corrective action as required
Other Responsibilities
The requirements of the post may also include periodic out-of-hours work in order to train or support staff that do not work normal office hours.
To be responsible for physical resources and safe use of equipment.
To be responsible for the authorisation of timesheets for the Assistant Systems Officers
