    Turner Property Recruitment are proud to be working with a large, well known consultancy with offices throughout the UK and Europe on their next hire of a Senior/Associate Project Manager with a salary of up to £80,000 plus bonus and benefits.

    This role will be within our client's thriving Health & Safety team where there is a unique opportunity for a Safety Case Project Manager in their London office to support with the delivery of building safety cases.

    Our client is actively working with a variety of key high-end residential clients to manage a high volume of case work with the huge potential for further development of this business area.

    This is an exciting role for a Project Manager or Chartered Building Surveyor with a strong interest in Fire & Building Safety, looking to make a positive impact and keen to work with our client's market-leading safety professionals. You will take the lead on developing safety cases including identifying potential risks of fire spread, gathering evidence, building a detailed report aligning with building compliance and updating any changes reflective of evolving safety standards.

    Main responsibilities

    • Accurately build and develop building safety cases in accordance with The Building Safety Act 2022, identifying fire risks or major hazards and demonstrating the building's safety
    • Conduct surveys and investigations to gather information related to fire risks including design specifications, materials used and maintenance records
    • Collate information and write accurate reports that demonstrate the design and construction of the building are compliant with current safety standards
    • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and facilitate the delivery of additional work required as a result of the safety case report
    • Ensure safety cases are updated in line with evolving safety regulations over time
    • Manage client relationships, take the lead on identifying new business and growth opportunities for this area
    • Procure consultants and chair meetings for stakeholders to share and review evidence
    • Support other areas of the business such as Project Managers or Building Surveyors with delivery of project work as desired

    Your profile

    • MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or equivalent qualification
    • Experienced within a building surveying or project management role
    • Good knowledge of The Building Safety Act 2022 and building safety compliance standards
    • Keen interest within Building & Fire Safety
    • Proven experience working in the built environment, ideally within a consultancy
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Flexible to travel across London to conduct surveys and attend client meetings
