    About the Job

    The Chesley/Paisley/Tara Home Service Area has two part-time vacancies available. The successful candidates will be required to work 28.5 hours over a two-week period. The incumbents will have the opportunity to accept shifts in surrounding branches to provide relief staffing for vacation and sick time of scheduled employees. Hours may include evenings and weekends.

    This position is available May 25, 2024.

    Requirements

    Qualifications
    Must have completed grade 12 education, as a minimum
    Superior interpersonal, communication and organization skills
    Excellent computer skills and experience working in a computerized environment
    Strong ability to successfully multitask in a busy environment
    Experience planning, promoting, and running programs for all age groups and for large groups
    Ability to work independently while successfully promoting the mandate of the Library
    Strong customer service background
    Support the Canadian Federation of Library Association's Statement on Intellectual Freedom and Libraries
    Ability to lift book bins, maneuver book carts and shelve books
    Experience with office equipment

    Assets
    Registration in the Ontario Library Service (OLS) EXCEL program
    Current First Aid/CPR certification
