    My client is looking for a motivated and proactive General Manager to join their team at a vibrant dining establishment in London. The restaurant is a cutting-edge dining destination located in the heart of London. With a focus on creativity, quality ingredients, and impeccable service, they offer a unique culinary experience that delights their guests. The venue features a 42-cover dining area and an 18-seater bar, providing an intimate and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy the innovative cuisine and handcrafted cocktails.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and bar areas, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
    • Lead and motivate a team of hospitality professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to maintain high standards of service and hospitality.
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets, including managing costs, optimizing pricing, and maximizing sales opportunities.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality products and services are delivered to the restaurant.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.


    Requirements:

    • Previous experience as a General Manager in an independent restaurant group, with a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence and financial performance.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of hospitality professionals.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
    • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions, as well as bar management.
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to addressing challenges and seizing opportunities.
    • Results-oriented mindset, with a drive to exceed expectations and achieve ambitious goals.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
