TIER ONE EMPLOYMENT TEAM
I am working with an impressive top 40 UK Law firm who are seeking a skilled and experienced Employment Solicitor to join their dynamic, tier one Employment Team in the Cheltenham office. The ideal candidate will be 3-4 years PQE and will collaborate closely with our team members to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Within this role you would be providing comprehensive advice to top quality clients on a wide range of employment matters. As there is a wide range of matters no two days will look the same.
Examples of typical work in the team includes drafting documentation, policies, disciplinary and grievances, family-friendly issues, redundancy processes, and GDPR compliance. Managing employment tribunal litigation, including drafting legal documents, attending hearings, and overseeing case management. Conducting due diligence on transactions, identifying potential issues, and providing strategic advice, particularly regarding TUPE regulations. Other examples include advising senior executives on optimising severance terms during exit negotiations, handing employment and partnership disputes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards including those set by the SRA.
The ideal solicitor will have 3-4 years PQE however solicitors with slightly more or less experience are invited to apply. You will be confident in your drafting abilities and have experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will also have experience in representing clients at tribunal proceedings, subject access requests, advising on TUPE regulations and handling employment status issues.
