Reed Finance are delighted be engaged with a leading public sector body to recruit for a Project Accountant postion to join their finance team and support with the implementation of IFRS 16 through their oracle based system.

This a 6 month project accountant role which is ideally suited to a strong Chartered Accountant with current or previous project based experience.

The postion reports into the Head of Finance as is part of their Financial Services team delivering the IFRS16 module and support the wider finance team.

Key Duties

Responsible for implementing IFRS16 within Oracle
Ensuring that all accounting arrangements and procedures comply with audit standards
Responsible for weekly, monthly and annual deadlines are met
Supporting with the yearend process
Identiyfing, reviewing and managing risks within the Financial Services Department
Chartered Accountant
Strong Accounting knowledge of accounting practices
High level or problem solving skills and experience of working in a complex organisation
Strong Leadership qualities
